Monumental Inscription for a Member of the Parsons Family in Sutton Montis


The following inscription was transcribed in October 2011 from a tombstone in the Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Sutton Montis which is in the Parish of South Cadbury in Somerset.



Tombstone

In loving memory of Minnie the beloved wife of
Reginald Gifford Dyke of Little Weston
Born September 29th 1866
Died October 6th 1904

Also in loving memory of Thomas Parsons Dyke
the beloved husband of Anna Dyke of this Parish
Born 30th December 1838
Died 19th February 1916

Also Anna Dyke died January 27th 1935
aged 92 years


Thomas Parsons Dyke was a great-great-grandson of Moses Parsons and his wife Martha (née Turk) who lived in Kington Magna in Dorset during the 18th century.
